GRANT WRITER
As Grant Writer you will play a major role in our development operations with key responsibilities to include: writing clear and comprehensive proposals to obtain foundation grants and financial support for the Acton Institute; facilitate and finalize written interim reports to grantors; manage a detailed proposal/reporting system and database records to reflect report and proposal timelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in grant writing with excellent research, writing and planning ability to produce effective requests for financial support while working in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment.
Preferred candidates will possess:
- Values consistent with the Acton Institute
- Understanding of the synthesis of free market and religion
- 3+ years experience with writing grants/proposals
- BS or BA degree
- Excellent process management skills
- Excellent organizational, written/oral communication, and people skills
