The Acton Institute is conducting a national search for highly successful charities, primarily privately funded, whose work is direct, personal, and accountable.
Win $10,000 for First Prize or $1,000 for Runners-Up Prizes.
National exposure will be given to the top ten honorees in a special edition of WORLD magazine. In addition, ALL applicants will be included in the Samaritan Guide which is a popular resource for donors and charities.
Deadline for submission is MAY 31, 2007.
Charities in this guide actively provide services to individuals in the United States with little to no help from government funding and, through their application to this Guide, display a high level of transparency and accountability.
