Biography:
Todd R. Flanders is headmaster of Providence Academy, a new private Pre-K
through 12 Catholic school in Plymouth, Minnesota. Previously Director
of Programs and Research Fellow with the Acton Institute, Flanders has
also taught college theology and American history, co-founded a residential
college program, and served as Director of Career Services at Truman State
University. He holds a BA in Fundamentals: Issues & Texts from the
University of Chicago, an MA in history from Truman State, and a Ph.D.
in theology from Boston College. His research interests include parental
choice in education, effective compassion, and other issues in religion
and the free society.
