Centesimus Annus Scholarships

Centesimus Annus Academic Scholarships: In the spirit of Centesimus Annus, Pope John Paul II’s landmark 1991 social encyclical, the Centesimus Annus Academic Fellowships of up to $3,000 are awarded to seminarians and graduate students studying theology, philosophy, economics, or related fields, and who advance understanding of the relationship between theology, principles of limited government, the free market, and the promise of commercial society. Centesimus Annus Travel Grants: provides travel grants of up to $3,000 to students who have been selected to present, at an academic conference, research that is relevant to the themes of Centesimus Annus. Awards are also open to students who need to travel to, and perform research at, archives or libraries, or to attend educational conferences that involve the study of themes contained within Centesimus Annus. |
